David R. Stoppenhagen, M.D., received his medical and undergraduate degrees from Indiana University. Following a transitional internship at the University of Pennsylvania Presbyterian, he completed a diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Missouri.

Dr. Stoppenhagen specialized in abdominal and pelvic imaging including, MRI, CT-Scan and Ultrasound at the University of Wisconsin. He is the former Chief of Radiology for the Augusta VA Medical Center, and former Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology for the Medical College of Georgia.

He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.
