Jason K. Locke, M.D., began his career in clinical research and as a registered nurse after earning undergraduate degrees in Biology and Nursing. He continued his education at, and obtained his medical degree from, Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, WV. Following medical school, he completed an internship in General Surgery at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. Afterward, Dr. Locke graduated from the Diagnostic Radiology residency program at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. Following residency, Dr. Locke underwent additional specialty training and graduated from the Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship program at the University of Florida.
Dr. Locke specializes in diagnostic vascular imaging and performing minimally invasive procedures to diagnose, treat, and manage many disease conditions. Special interests and expertise include interventional oncology (including endovascular embolization of liver tumors and percutaneous ablation of kidney tumors), endovascular treatments for vascular abnormalities, and procedures for management of chronic liver disease with recurrent ascites or varices.
