L. Watson George, II, MD, received his undergraduate degree in biology from Furman University followed by his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. A transitional internship preceded his diagnostic radiology residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals. Dr. George ended up staying at the University of North Carolina Hospitals to complete his musculoskeletal radiology fellowship.
