Dr. Michael J. Ludkowski earned his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Rutgers College, the founding school of Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago. He completed his Internship in General Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin followed by Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Allegheny General Hospital (part of the Medical College of Pennsylvania/Hahnemann University System) in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Ludkowski then completed Fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Northwestern University Medical School, in Chicago, IL.
Prior to joining Upstate Carolina Radiology, Dr. Ludkowski was on staff at the University of Colorado School of Medicine where he instructed Medical Students, Residents, and Fellows in the Division of Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Ludkowski has expertise in the minimally invasive treatment of Pelvic Congestion Syndrome, Varicoceles, Vertebral Compression Fractures, DVT=Deep Vein Thrombosis, PE=Pulmonary Emboli, Liver Cancer, Kidney Cancer, and many other disease processes.
